where to get a DD meal

As well as sleeping in unusual buildings you can also find some very eccentric places to eat - how about splashing out in a "gents loo", or taking that special date to somewhere really memorable, like a "knicker factory". Yes it's certainly possible, though possibly not very desirable!

Here are a few ideas which may be a little more tempting to your taste buds, than the above.

If you prefer to be tied up, rather than being tossed in the North Sea, we have a couple of harbour bound boats to feast on - a Clyde Steamer or a Humber Ferry in LONDON.

In the west, we have a sugar warehouse in Bristol, a watermill or a boathouse in Stratford-upon-Avon.

If you are venturing North, we have Stables, another Boathouse, a canalside warehouse, a Station, pullman carriages on a steam railway,a Church, a Rope Factory or a Windmill all waiting to be discovered.

We haven't visited any of these restaurants so can't comment on the food quality, or indeed be sure how much of the original character of the buildings has been retained, but we can guarantee that all these buildings have had exciting former lives.
